The Kimchi Jigae was a dish we enjoyed the most... served to us piping hot, it carried the perfect acidity and spiciness, perfect to wash down the Kimbap and Ja Jang Myeon. Any order of the Kimchi Jigae comes with a bowl of Steamed Rice.
Next up is the Jajang Myeon RM15, which is handmade noodle coated in black bean paste. The noodles are flavored well yet not overly intense, though I preferred the texture of the noodles to have more bite and springiness. The dish is also served in a larger bowl, which is priced at RM18. Another choice of dry noodle is the Buldak Bokeum Myeon, a dish of ultra spicy stir-fried chicken flavor noodle.
Another favourite soup of mine, served boiling hot, flavourful and full of ingredients, two thumbs up for spicy tofu!
If you enjoy bold meat flavors, the Lamb Shoulder and Pork Belly should be great. The Japanese-inspired sauce was a little sweet and with a discernible sweetness. The concoction however, made a perfect pair to the meat; everything just blended perfectly. Though the meats were fine, they may be a little too greasy for our appetite
