While I do not remember the exact prices, I do recall telling Masood that the prices at the food stalls here aren’t exactly cheap, specially considering that these are self-serve food stalls without air-conditioning. Regardless, the fresh food is worth the price and this is definitely a must-visit place specially for those who love seafood.

Nasi Dagang, 12 ringgit + Ayam Rempah (3 pieces) + Sambal Terung, 3 ringgit. This was yummy. The rice was awesome, the Devils Curry was thick and nice, Ayam Berempah was meaty and crunchy. Overall, a good attempt at Nasi Dagang Kelantanese style. Good to know that we can now have Eastern inspired cuisine nearby.

No doubt it generally cost more to eat out currently. For Warong Sinarnor, I am at least thankful that the quality of their dishes remained on par, even if prices have almost doubled. As I’ve gushed about the sambal and perfectly fragrant fluffy rice 8 years ago, I am glad I could say the same now. This is one of the very few nasi lemak stalls in KL/PJ that still serves a spicy sambal. Not super spicy (that doesn’t exist anymore) sadly, but certainly spicier than the current sweet ones.

Mat Rock Ayam Goreng Kunyit - KLCC Restaurant

Mat Rock Special Ayam Goreng Kunyit

Cheap, decent portion and tasty – Mat Rock ticks all the right boxes. That and the fact that Mat Rock scoops in their unique and fiery sambal belacan in every pack, and a touch of this potent concoction just turn everything in the pack into a dynamite. However, Mat Rock Nasi Ayam Kunyit isn’t quite the same without the sambal. So the sambal is a MUST.
