I ordered lontong as I wanted to try it the previous time at MYR 12.30 nett. I like all the ingredients - tempeh, hard boiled egg, beancurd puffs, glass noodles, compressed rice, squid sambal, and lots of other vegetables in the coconut milk rich gravy. If only the gravy is less salty then I would order this again.
I could not decide on what to order and in the end, I went with the Nasi Himpit Soto at MYR 12.30 nett. I like the soft compressed rice cubes. The broth tastes rich with spices which I cannot recognised but it was not those hot and spicy type. You can choose to have Soto with noodles too.
I ordered the Nasi Lemak Biasa set meal – I got what I ordered, it certainly did fill my stomach to keep me going throughout the day. Taste wise however, it was okayla, not bad. Perhaps if you fancy something more yummy and not ‘biasa’, then you would be better off ordering items from their normal menu and not the Breakfast Set. Feel me? I’ve tried their Nasi Lemak Ayam from their normal Menu and I loved it. It was delicious. So yea. Same thing with the Chee Cheong Fun, it was okayla. My friend wanted that dish and that was what he got, similarly, I wanted Nasi Lemak and that was what I got.
My order: Nyonya dumpling / chang at MYR 11.99 nett. Taste sweet with soft glutinous rice. Fine by me.
Nyonya Mee Siam, 10.90 ringgit. I liked the Mee Siam. It was yummy. The noodles had a lil sweetness to it that worked well with the chicken curry. The gravy was flavorful and packed with spices, when mixed with the sweetness from the noodles – it was positively appealing. The curry came with 4 tender, meaty bits of chicken, which was as good having it on its own as it was having it with the noodles. Overall, this was a good dish.
And this time, one can venture and try the signature dishes which includes their Asam Pedas (Spicy Tamarind Fish), Kari Ayam Kapitan (Kapitan Curry Chicken), Portuguese Lamb, Siakap Teochew (Teochew Sea Bass), Daging Kerutuk (Beef Kerutuk), Gulai Umbut Pisang (Banana Stem Curry), Chicken Pongteh, Madras Lamb Masala, Beef Tauchu, Lamb Roghanjosh, and Chicken and Apricot Tajine. Every dish is carefully crafted till perfection with the touch of aromatic flavours in it.

Asam Laksa, 16 ringgit. The Asam Laksa was good. The only downside to this dish was that the broth was a tad watery. Other than that, it was all good. It tasted awesome, I enjoyed slurping it away , it surprisingly eased my throat. I like how they cut the laksa noodles into smaller pieces. The long noodles are usually slippery, it often is a battle in it self using chopsticks to get a couple of those noodles onto the spoon. Well, in this case, they thought about this complication and made it a whole lot easier for me. As, you would notice, the dish came in a generous portion – lots of noodles, onions, greens, 2 large pieces of fish. It certainly did fill my tummy, satisfyingly.
