I would probably go back again if there was an occasion to!
The decor of the Olivia Restaurant is done in a contemporary and timeless style. It still looked fresh and new after two years. The open kitchen is the heart of the place. It is flanked on three sides by the U-shaped dining area.
Pistachio cake. Not bad. Topped with crushed pistachios, yuzu creme and drizzled with honey. I liked the crumbly texture.
Every dish is a beautiful ensemble of lovely flavours and a showcase of fine produce.
I didn't quite feel Moosehead has made a statement as much as my very first visit. But the complexity of the dishes still shines, not to forget the upbeat ambience of this small space. Perhaps that explains the crowd day in and out.
11 reviews of In Italy "Found this place as i was looking for a nice place to celebrate early Valentine's day. Made a reservation after reading some good review and definitely worth the visit. Located in a nice cosy pre-war house, it has an old…
Service was superbly attentive and considerate that I didn't even have to signal when to bring out cake lol!
All in all, it was a day of a hit and misses. Another thing we felt was missing was that despite its name, we did not feel that we were in Italy. The sense of warm hospitality that Italian restaurants are known for was something we missed.
Urban Bites may sounds like a modern restaurant but what it offers is lesser known Lebanese cuisine.
The Turkish coffee wasn't even as flavourful as espresso. That and we could only pour a little before the glass was about to overflow and we had to eat ice cream to free space before we could pour a little more of coffee.
It is a cosy restaurant with nice ambience for diners to spend some private moments together. The restaurant also offers delivery through FoodPanda as well.
El Tardeo, is the newish tapas bar owned and managed by next-door Binomio, our favorite Spanish restaurant in Singapore.
Impressive Bar with selections of drinks flown in from Spain and very cute staff
There are many other dishes that are worth a try but these are just some great highlights.
I'm definitely coming back, possibly even as an alternative to Burnt Ends given how difficult it is to get a seat there.
I would definitely want to be back at Maggie Joan's again.
Maggie Joan’s offers its tasting menu for both lunch and dinner, crafted using seasonal ingredients sourced from small and artisanal producers.
If I were to summerize the food at Claypots, I would say that they are a gastrobar that serves fresh, specially curated seafood cooked mediterranean style but spiked with sambal and SEA herbs.
We did not know what to expect when visiting a restaurant called Claypots Full Circle that has a sign outside that says “we don’t do claypots”. Well, now we know.
