Seafood fried rice (RM12 – one portion). Good portion, generous amount of seafood (shrimps, crab meat sticks), nice wokhei.
Stir Fried Lai Fun with seafood (prawns, squid, mini scallops) for MYR 12 The Lai Fun is the default type of noodle used for Assam Laksa). The noodles are a bit springy so I need to chew for a long time carefully. I kept more than half of this dish for my friend as the portion is too much for me.
The restaurant does not offer a big menu list of choices and I think it is perhaps a good thing that they offer what they do best.
非常推,服务非常好,食物都很新鲜
Overall Rating: 5/10. I have heard a handful of things about this legendary lobster restaurant (founded in 2001!), though many of which were on it's deteriorating quality. Looks like my plan to try new things didn't turn out so well this time round.
Overall, only certain food are nice, but many are very poor. The service is also terribly poor. The person who picks up call, and the person who take order is so impatient and unfriendly. I think she is either the boss of the restaurant or manager. Seriously service is very important in F&B field. Besides that, the staff are all foreigners who can't even understand simple English.
Despite being nothing Louisiana about it, the Creamy Asam Pedas sauce may be their best one yet. Asam pedas pairs excellently with seafood, this is no exception. We had it with the Crab Coma (2 pcs of XXL crab) and found that the spicy and tangy flavor really accentuates the natural sweetness of the crab, or any kind of shellfish. Truly finger licking good and I highly recommend it.
Seafood Bag (Freshwater prawns) is our favourite. It comes with 500gm Freshwater prawns and 200gm King prawns. The seafood was fresh, juicy and goes perfectly well with the spicy lip-smacking sauce (Signature Southern Bang). With an additional cheese on top, yum!! Cheese + Seafood + Spicy Sauce = YUM!! Seafood Bag (Freshwater prawns) comes with a corn, potato and fried mantao. Seafood Bag (Freshwater prawns) @ RM 93
Noodles for those who do not want to eat seafood with their hands. There are a few choices and the selected one here is Mi Xian (Rice Noodle) with Freshwater Prawns at MYR 16.90++ (10% service charge and 6% GST = MYR 19.70 nett).
