Verdict: 1. Tapas Club is a great place for dine and wine by both the day and night. Highly recommended for special occasions, celebrations or private functions too. 2. Overall, Tapas Club has far exceeded our expectations in almost all aspects, be it the quality of food, ambiance or service. If I were to have any complaints at all, it would be the overall taste of food leaning towards the heavier (stronger) side. Suckling pig with spinach - MYR 27++ (MYR 31.32 nett). Juicy fatty fine meat with skin as crispy as a potato chip. The aioli dip, made from garlic and olive oil is smooth and garlicky.

Verdict: I found the price range for the products is pretty reasonable and certainly a good place to stock up your grocery especially when you planning to have a home party. Imagine your guests tuck into happily the platter filled with cold cut and cheese from different regions of Italy that you prepared ^__^ A place that I wouldn’t say no for more visits!

Spanish Iberico Pork Chop (RM 67.50) Yummz.. These was satisfying. We really enjoyed the Spanish Iberico Pork Chop which came tender and juicy. Topped with the grilled vegetables and oven-baked potato gratin.

Gambas Al Ajillo (RM33), from the south of Spain is beautifully done here, with large, plump prawns cooked in olive oil, garlic and chili. That garlicky oil is so simple yet so good... I'd love more bread to soak it all up!

Reasons to visit El Toro Loco KL: a pleasant indoor/ outdoor setting in KL’s city centre; one of the few places in the city with a late night kitchen; authentic Spanish recipes; must try De Txaka and De Champiñon Iberico pinchos, Ceviche Agazpachado, Paella and be sure to save space for at least one of the desserts – chocolate lovers should go with the mousse but those curious about the subtle differences found in crème brulee around the world the Spanish version, Crema Catalana should definitely be given a taste.

Lastly, the Paella, 29 ringgit. I try and get my hands on this plate of yummy goodies whenever I can, which isn’t as often as I would like considering the rarity of my visits to Spanish restaurants. So, naturally this time – we went for it. Ooooooo, it was good, a gooey, delicious pile of thick, mushy, flavorful rice topped with clams, mussels, prawns and squids. I have a soft spot for short grain rice, it is the same reason I loveeee risotto too – I was a happy kid. Burp!

My personal favorite was the Gambas Al Ajillo (RM47), with incredibly large and fresh tiger prawns, sauteed in garlic, olive oil and chilli. Loved dipping the bread into the garlicky oil - so delicious!
