Wouldn't recommend the grilled fish here at all but I would come back to try other cuts of their wagyu.
The well marbled sirloin steak was tender, succulent, flavourful and luxe without being overly fatty, although it did feel a bit cloying after the meal. Nice, almost like in Japan.
It was fried nicely, but all I could taste was the panko rather than the meat itself. We also ordered a ribeye, whose fatty meat taste was much more pronounced and enjoyable, but it was a whopping S$48.90 (US$35) for a 220g cut. You get what you pay for.
The quality of food and service are commendable. I won't hesitate to recommend my friends here if they want to try Japanese Style Beef.
Had their old style hash brown on the side. Crisp and buttery. There's Boursin cheese in it that made it richer than just an ordinary buttery hash brown.
All meals at Luke's begin with their corn bread. I'm not in a position to tell if they're one of the better ones around but they are nice.
