What do We Like about ? -Authentic Taiwan’s taste of tasty foods -Set meals come with various side dishes, rice and soup -The environment and setting is spacious and comfortable
I ordered this peanut shaved ice at MYR 14.30 nett for my lunch because the portion of food served at this restaurant is huge so I would not be able to finish it and I did not have my container with me. The amount of ice is too much for me too but I forced myself to finish it.
What do We Like about Manjoe Taiwanese Dumplings? -The tasty huge fried chicken chop -The crispy and juicy chives dumplings
Kimchi dumpling which I will order again because it tastes ok and it is not common to find kimchi dumplings solld in KL.
Top view. Mango Snowfetti from Snowflake, Midvalley Mall at MYR 33.90 nett. Mango ice shavings with jelly ai yu, sweet potatoes balls, taro balls, springy tapioca balls, and cubes of mango swimming in mango puree.
I ordered the Base Ice Mix with the lowest price which is Soya Ice Mix at MYR 9.60+ (MYR 10.20 nett) in which I selected the exact 3 toppings that I had before with Matcha Shaved Ice - actual Taro / Yam as the premium topping and for the two classic toppings, peanuts and red bean. Previously with the Matcha Shaved Ice, I did not like that there is a slight soya taste in the Matcha Ice but surprisingly I am fine with the soya taste when it is purely soya shaved ice.
My bowl of Customised Matcha Ice Mix at MYR 12.50+ (MYR 13.25 nett) in which I selected Matcha Shaved Ice as the Base, actual Taro / Yam as the premium topping and for the two classic toppings, peanuts and red bean. The shaved ice does have a nice green tea taste but yet I can detect another taste which I think is the taste of soy beans which somehow interferes with the taste of matcha so I can't say that I have found the replacement for my favourite green tea ice from Nana Green Tea
吃茶三千的店面装潢以白色为主,环境非常敞亮,搭配木质家具,也不失为一个打卡的好地方。
So, for those who are big fans of tea, it is time to visit their outlet at Pavilion. You will be assured to enjoy a nice blend of tea at anytime.
Snowflake is one of a spot that I will definitely visit during my trip to Kuala Lumpur.
Very soft with the nice taste of honey and a spot of savoury cheese on top. Then I looked at the receipt for its price - oh, MYR7.50 nett. At this price, I would rather eat Tokyo Secret Cheese Tarts.
What do We Like about Grand Taipei Mid Valley? -Crispy chicken in the spicy chili condiments -The meals came with rice and side dishes, at reasonable price
Ingredient here is nicely done up and I am totally impress with their service. Very attentive crew! Will certainly come back again as the pricing is consider very reasonable. Food Rating 7.5/10, pretty good Taiwanese Steamboat.-Stamped-
Overall, I was impressed with the decor of this restaurant. As for the food, they need to do something immediately about it. There’s just too much processed food!
Taifeng offers a few unique soup bases that cannot be found at other local steamboat restaurants. One of them is their signature Sour Vege with Pork Soup @ RM26.50. Yep you read that right, soups are not provided FOC here. With that said, we didn’t mind paying for it because the soup was appetizing and tangy with no hint of MSG. It also comes with plenty of vegetables and pork slices so the price is pretty justified.
Pork with Leeks dumplings (8 in a serving) - MYR9.90++ (MYR13.36 nett). This dish is the main reason I came here. Lots of leeks in the filling so it is all good but the skin is too thin. I prefer them to be thicker so I am not going to order them again.
Overall, the food and service are good at Kiki Taiwanese Cuisine by Fong Lye in KLCC. For the pricing, it is high due to high operating cost especially the rentals in KLCC. We enjoyed our lunch with our boys and we will come back again. If you are looking for good food in KLCC, you can consider Kiki Taiwanese Cuisine by Fong Lye.
Verdict: Overall it was a decent dining experience with friendly service and comfortable environment. Hits and misses on the food but I’d probably will revisit to further the menu since there are still many food I would like to try.
Overall meal was a 5/5! If can, I’d give 55555/5! Totally recommended! The restaurant size is a little small, so it can be a little packed. You can make reservations before hand. If you don’t, do expect to queue outside. My mom is quite close with the waitress so she called her to make reservations and also ordered the dishes in the afternoon.
The menu is classic Taiwanese with a few innovations. Three varieties of supreme dried chicken, also known as Sam Pei Chicken is one of their signature dishes which is highly recommended. Worth a try!
This is a great place to go in Pearl Point at Old Klang Road if you fancy a quick bite of classic Taiwanese dishes. There’s noodle soup, dumplings, Taiwan sausages and more. The mains and set meals are excellent value for money not to mention their speedy services. The signature Taiwanese Sausage (RM 10.90) is served in slices for bite size and a killer accompaniment for that bowl of piping hot Claypot Lou Shi Fun (RM 15.90) and that bowl of steaming Hell-hot Ramen Soup (RM 12.90) .
What do We Like about Fong Lye Fusion? -The foods were with quality, same with the price charged -The dining ambience was very comfotable
I remember reading a post by Submerryn about the tasty pork chop at this eatery so when we were at Cheras Leisure Mall a few days ago, we tried it. I also remember PH trying the food at another branch twice.
Yogurt Bun Lemon cheese filling ozzes from the bun.
This bread is made with no egg, no milk, no butter and no seafood/meat so it is suitable for vegan but it is not gluten-free. Lychee & Rose Bread - MYR 12.90 nett.
This braised minced meat rice with crispy chicken chop is the winner because it is loaded with ingredients and has a very good affordable price - only MYR 16.90 nett for ala carte. I didn't order the set meal which includes a beverage.
Tiger Sugar brown sugar pearl milk tea has been a total game-changer. From now on, this is what bubble tea is supposed to taste like. I can’t even go back to my once-adored TeaLive – Tiger Sugar has ruined me. It is much more expensive than TeaLive (about RM5 more a cup) but it’s so good that I’m willing to take the hit. You just don’t get layers of flavours like this in cheaper bubble teas.
看似不贵的早餐,CP值却完全不达标,不会再来第二次了。
Overall, for those who love to grab a taste and being in the trend; hop to Golden Bons where they offer you with all in 1 tub for your convenient eats.
