This temple overlooking the sea may be out of the way, but it’s still worth a visit. I bet it looks even more amazing during the winter when snow’s falling and covering everything from the roof to the ground.

Incredibly, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is free to enter. It’s a gorgeous temple, perched on seaside boulders overlooking the azure waters of the East Sea, and is well worth the longish bus ride.

After passing by a tunnel ,we walked these 108 steps of stairs that is said to symbolize the 108 sufferings of Buddhism. After going down the 108 steps, we were delighted with the beauty of the temple.
