Restoran ni menjadi kegemaran suami Sumie. Sebab, ianya menyediakan masakan Thai asli. Masakannya disini tak macam kedai2 tomyam kat tempat lain. Disini, rasanya seperti ada resepi sendiri. Eceh…
Last week aku pergi makan dengan kawan-kawan sepejabat aku. So, kami memilih untuk makan di Puchong (Restoran Alissara Thai Suisine). Restoran ni semua pekerja dari Siam kot. Makanan & harga di retoran ni sama macam ala-ala Chakri Palace tuh. Huhu..
Okay Thai food.
Nice and affordable place for dinner, my parents didn't complain (which is a good sign). Might need to wait a bit during weekend dinner, but table turnover is fast. Thinking of coming back.
Although Krua Thai is not a fancy place, I like the ambience and I think it hits the spot for quality, authentic Thai cuisine served in a rustic atmosphere. The prices are average for this type of establishment, ranging from RM20 for sharing plates, and RM12 + for individual rice or noodle dishes.
Personally loves the Pork Belly which has the extra porky flavour and tastes exactly like a crispy bacon while grilling for an extended period of time.
Overall, I can’t complain about the food given the reasonable price tag but I feel food was very mediocre and service, below normal standards. We paid approximately RM55 per head inclusive of a bottle of beer and two plates of bak kwa. Not expensive, but definitely not a place I would brave traffic and distance for.
The signature Thai Banana Leaf rice is RM 9.90, taste wise is okay. The Tom Yam Fried Rice is too wet, taste wise below average. Thai Style Calamari is way too normal, and the coffee feels like..
Hey everyone, Watch Sean & Carmen hit up Coco’s Thai Banana Leaf Restaurant for their soft-launch promotion. We had 2 Thai Banana Leaf Sets which was only fo...
Unfortunately, the signatures that we ordered at Mama Mee Yah did not impress. Considering the hefty price tag, I don’t think we will be giving this place a return visit.
But it is not this day. We may be served by robots, but food cooked ourselves on the grill still tastes the best. Bon appetit!
I know it’s super unhealthy (which is why you should eat this once in a blue moon, or for celebrations!), but I highly recommend getting the Mozzarella Bacon. The cheese sticks to the pan, so I suggest grilling one side of the bacon first before putting the topping on the other side, so you get nice, crispy edges and a gooey centre. Speaking of which, I like my bacon to be chewy rather than crispy, which the Hubs deems blasphemous. How do you like your bacon?
Supreme Pork (Family Set) came with thinly sliced pork, bacon, chicken, shrimp, assorted hotpot goodies like meatballs, crab meat sticks and tofu, butterfish slices, shrimp, squid, fish paste noodles, udon and vegetables.
Verdict: The Thai iced milk tea was quite good. Other than that, I thought the food was average.
SOMTUM PU PALA (Thai Language) Papaya Salad with Crab The moment we chewed it, the savoury papaya salad will make you even want more! It’s spicy, fresh and the crunchy tangy green papaya will never make you stop eating IT IS SO MOUTHWATERING!!!
Considering that you get to dine in air conditioned comfort, and the dishes are tasty, I’d say Aroy-D-Thai offers great value for money – a good spot for a lunch break for office workers, or people who live in the nearby housing areas. Single dishes start from RM10.90.
Minced chicken/pork with basil is a must-have at any Thai restaurant, so we ordered one (chicken). The version here came served on tomato slices with deep fried century eggs, which was a nice addition. The minced chicken meat was tender and juicy, having fully absorbed the juices from the stir frying process.
Okay Thai food which feels very much like Chinese food.
Can’t remember how the tomyam tasted, but it sure looks really good here, clear tom yam soup is my preferred type of tomyam, but i remember the vegetable was simple and nice, yum~
Pretty affordable Thai Restaurant in Puchong, with free rice, Chinese tea and ice-cream. The Paku vegetables and pandan chicken is pretty good, but the butter squid is quite disappointing.
Songkhla menu give you a variety of menu options, still good bargin at reasonable price. Whether you like it spicy hot or not, you are bound to find a favorite from their zesty, spicy, and flavorful Thai foods.
One of my favourite things to order at a Thai restaurant – grilled pork skewers! These were the right balance of lean and fat, tender and flavourful with a slight char.
