Special Pork Leg with Rice (Kao Ka Moo) @ RM 8.90. This is one of my favourite as with such a price, this is pretty good meal for lunch where pork is so soft and add on with salted veggie at the side is just perfect. For such pricing and food quality, I certainly will be coming back.

The Porki Society is a Thai restaurant in Sea Park just minutes’ drive away from SS2. They made waves with their boat noodles a couple of years ago when those were still considered the must try food in Klang Valley. Now, The Porki Society is perhaps better well known for their affordable and well executed Thai pork dishes, which I have to say are deserving of their reputation

At first glance, every item on the plate seem separated, only to be connected by their special sauce blend but upon mixing it all up, it sure did blend well. Every mouthful was yummy and i would totally order this dish again. …. and did I mention that this dish is only 20 ringgit, which also includes free flow of lemongrass drink and prawn crackers? The service at Fa-Ying is passable but not as good as their flagship Rama V. Nevertheless, it’s was a great meal in a more casual setting, which is what Fa-Ying is out to achieve. Start off with their Tom Yum Goong which has 2 levels and I was advise to try out level one instead of 2. @ RM 18. The first sip is awesome where it is pack with flavours. As you sip along, your tears will be flowing as the spiciness starts to kicks in. It is indeed spicy and I thought of going to Level 2. Pla Neung Manao, 62 ringgit. This was one of their popular/recommended dishes. It was delicious. The fish was fresh, cooked/steamed well. I loved the tom yum gravy that accompanied the fish, it was thicker than the usual tom yum soup I usually taste around here, which was great, it was spicy with a tinge of sweetness to it. Delicious. If I could change one thing – it would be the fish itself – rather than a snapper, perhaps a Tilapia would have made the dish even better. Other than that, this dish was awesome.
