Food here is good, i personally like their Black Pepper Udon. The black pepper taste is strong with its fat udon noodles, it is tasty. It is serve with some carrot and vegetables in it. The serving size is small, i wish it is in bigger portion.
The Cold Sesame Noodles consisted of a mixture of julienned Cucumbers, Carrots, caramelized Vegetarian Ham and Enokitake Mushrooms... served over Sesame Salad dressing. The noodles were silky smooth rather than the al-dente type but the concoction was most refreshing and delicious. They did a nice twist to the Mushrooms by adding Sugar to caramelize them, introducing a tacky-crisp texture and sleek sweetness to the dish.
Their Sweet & Sour Mock Pork was another lovely preparation. The mock meat was still dry, had a little bit of moistness and the cucumber and cauliflower add on's were good. 9/10 shall be my rating for this dish
Mama Vege Restaurant is a vegetarian restaurant that serve vegetarian food, so it is a suitable place for all my vegetarian friends out there.
The Original Soup Pan Mee was our favorite of the day with al-dente noodles, reasonably seasoned clean-tasting broth and generous amount of greens and toppings. Judging by the look, we thought it would be bland but it was beautifully seasoned
Symple Cafe's Signature Noodle is a dish that you would not want to miss. Not only that the noodles were carefully cooked with a smooth but al-dente texture, the home-made sauce with Monkey Head Mushroom was the soul to the dish... it possessed the earthiness yet, carefully seasoned on the dot. Together with Shitake Mushrooms, Cucumber, Carrot and Sambal, the combination was to die for. For the uninitiated, Monkey Head Mushroom possesses the texture akin to meat... fibrous, chewy yet tender.
