Nice environment, interesting choices of drinks available.
Ooooo man, this was one good pizza. It was light, thin crusted and came with plenty of toppings. Lots of mozzarella cheese, broccoli, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, eggplants and olive. It was a delicious dish. The pizza was shared between the 3 of us, each of us 2 slices. Despite eating those, it felt like it was hardly enough. Next time I am going to order one box, all for me, myself and I. No sharing 😊
Verdict: Would I come here again? Recommended for vegetarian + cafe style. It makes my stomach and my wallet happy, hahaha. Their nyonya curry mee is truly satisfying!
I call this the vegetarian wat tan hor because the hor fun or kway teow has the sought-after wok-hei. I wanted to order the basil mee hoon stir fry but the elderly waiter recommend this bittergourd kway teow to me at MYR 14.90+ (5% service charge = MYR 15.65 nett). Although there is a lot of black bean gravy which makes this dish very flavourful, it was not very salty so I could still enjoy eating it. I guess the flavourful black bean gravy is to please the general public who thinks that vegetarian food is not flavourful. As usual I kept half for dinner.
This time I ordered the set lunch at MYR 16.60 nett with a bowl of not sweet red bean dessert soup at MYR 4 nett. I chose the lotus roots with chickpeas and omelette with herb dishes. The stirfry mixed vege and pickled papaya are the two default dishes in this set. My friend gave me her pickled papaya dish too so I had two portions in the photo above. As usual I kept half of the rice and some dishes for dinner but not the red bean soup.
My lunch order: Red Yeast Mee Sua at MYR 15.55 nett and Pumpkin sweet corn sweet potatoes dessert at MYR 4 nett. The Red Yeast Mee Sua has lots of vege and mushrooms in it. It is so tasty that I ended up drinking all the broth. The pumpkin dessert is not sweet at all and the staff informed us that we can request for it to be sweeter which we feel is not necessary.
