What do We Like about Marco, One Utama? -Lunch sets which were value for money
I had a very satisfying meal at Marco. The food is tasty, and the service is prompt and impressive. It kind of feels like having fine dining cuisine, but not as ‘frilly’ and at a much more affordable price.
Me? I love burger.
What do We Like about WonderMama, One Utama? -The sharing set allows us to have variety of stuff to try
Wondermama has inflated prices on their food, but it is possible to get a good meal for lower than you expected if you get one of their value sets or sharing platters. On our visit there was an additional unexplained 15% discount on food, so we ended up paying an astoundingly great price for two huge dishes with drinks. Pair that with an enjoyable atmosphere and perennially cheerful staff and Wondermama is worth a visit. Especially if you’re in that part of 1 Utama’s old wing and can’t be arsed to walk all the way to that restaurant in the new wing that you want.
Overall their service is excellent and we didn't wait long for our food. Not sure how's the crowd and waiting time like during their peak hours but the food here is quite good.
The place is pretty, the food is yummy, the price is expensive. The Lavender bakery is still one of my favourites though. I bought the kids these super cute Halloween sugar cookies.
Creamy Mushroom Fettuccine was good. Al-dente spaghetti cooked in creamy sauce and topped with grilled salmon. I really enjoy it. Add on Grilled Salmon RM 10.35/ Creamy Mushroom Fettuccine @ RM 20.75
Berries Waffle (RM 15) Grab the awesomely sweet sensation where the crispy waffle is perfectly topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries. Served together with Vanilla ice cream. Love the berries taste of it.
Popping Affogato @ RM9.90 Another new item that reminds me of Chinese New Year is the Popping Affogato, because of its "popping effect" as soon as the handcrafted espresso is poured upon my childhood favourite Popping Candy and vanilla ice cream. Every sip is just heavenly!
The waffle was pretty decent but the wait takes off my enjoyment and the coffee was alright I guess but I would say for the standard coffee that costs around RM10-12 a cup, I would go for other shops with better service even if the coffee was out of this world.
Wanted to try a wider variety of items, so I got the Seafood Sampler (RM28+) to share with my colleague. The portion is sizable and contains a generous amount of squid rings, large and juicy whole-fried prawns and fish cutlets. I liked the shrimp and the squid, but not the fish. Ironic, since that is what they’re supposed to specialise in. I wasn’t expecting the fish cutlets to have bones – and it had an overwhelmingly ‘fishy’ smell that indicated to me it wasn’t fresh. Which was a shame, as the seasoning and batter were actually quite nice.
It was a fuss-free noshing in a jiffy with lovely choices of sauces. Fish was chunky fresh and batter not overly thick. Not too bad overall and I look forward to trying out their freshly made inhouse chips soon.
What do We Like about Astons Specialities One Utama? -Affordable and tasty steak -Good dining environment

The BBP or The Big Black Pig is the friendly neighbourhood restaurant bar that you go to to unwind and relax after a long day. Its breezy, open air design with wooden and rattan furniture gives a relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re on a holiday island, rather than in the middle of bus…
Not surprisingly, this place is a hit during weekends, public holidays and celebrations. You might have to expect a full house if not more revelry during those days. So make your bookings early!
Movies are screened daily from 8pm onwards and due to overwhelming response; screenings have been extended from one screening a day to two with the second set around 10pm – in which tickets are also selling fast.
A central bar area, from where our liquid refreshments emerged, along with an impressive sound system, make this venue stand out from others in the city. Walking around the edge was not as daunting as expected – safety is of prime importance and the structuring of fencing and other safety mechanisms really puts you at ease – yet does not distract from the view (brownie points here). Usually, I shy away at this stage, but tonight I was a more-than-willing accomplice to view PJ from this vantage point.
The roasted pork was western style, like something you would get at Boon Signature Roast Pork but an inferior version. It did not taste fresh and the skin was not crispy
I had the Keto Bowl with the fried chicken. It was a good dinner.
What do We Like about Park's Bagels? -Many choices of cream cheese and bagels to choose from
See , not bad kan harga dia. Tak mahal sgt. Affordable ong putih kabo hehe. Kenyang weh. Alhamdulillah.
MC's Shack at CenterPoint also serves good old German Sausage as well as Steaks, I am thinking of dining here next time.
To kick start our review, Chef Timothy has also crafted out a few new dishes for its diners to taste, the first of which is a starter that got us addicted to it which is Salted Egg Yolk Crispy Fish Skin. Once you start to eat this, it is difficult not to reach out for a second or third helping, we ended with an extra order for this dish.
One of their best seller is this Roasted Pumpkin Salad @ RM 25. One of the recommended dish too. Nice balance of flavour with its roasted pumpkin and vinaigrette is just perfect.
Definitely can’t miss are Delicious signature cakes selection! Expected to be thrilled by all those delectable looking dessert in their display cabinet and make most probably one of your hardest decision which to choose. (haha, ok I’m just too exaggerating!)
Converting my diet completely to organic way definitely not an easy task due the prices but I know where can find delicious organic food now whenever I need a light & detox meal.
