A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
Overall, I had a good meal at Capasso where you can expect good Italian dishes in a relatively “casual”, lounge vibes setting. The setting and design of the menu make it more ideal to head here with a small group of diners for a good variety of options to try.
Overall, I had a great meal at Sushi Kawasemi and this is one new omakase to check out especially if you love aged fish for nigiris. Every course is consistently good, and it is one of the better omakase meals I had this year.
Experience exquisite Italian cuisine and fine dining at Capasso Restaurant. Indulge in a culinary journey that blends tradition and innovation.
Overall, I like the new version of Sichuan Alley. I feel the dishes served are more affordable, comforting and can be enjoyed regularly. I recommend the noodles, braised beef with bamboo shoots, mini hotpot and fried pig intestines. Cheers!!
Ambience at Sichuan Alley is casual and relaxing. Styled like a traditional noodle house, the cafe-lounge is warmly lit, with traditional lanterns hanging from the ceiling.
There has been an increase of Omakase restaurants with different concepts in recent years. If you are looking for a traditional Kaiseki experience with a twist of a modern approach, try Ikkoten Omakase.
The omakase competition is a stiff one in Singapore and if you are looking for a traditional Kaiseki experience, Ikkoten Omakase is one to consider.
The Place Located in Telok Ayer Street, Boeuf restaurant has been around for a few years but I only managed to check it out recently last month. The steakhouse restaurant occupies a two storey shophouse space with an elegant interior design. Level one of the restaurant exudes a buzzing dining ambience, while level two is slightly cosier especially if you managed to snag the tables right beside the window.
Boeuf Singapore is a restaurant renowned for its expertise in serving delectable dry-aged beef and Beef Tartare dishes located on Telok Ayer Street
