        Too bad that the food wasn't very edgy though. Sure, it was edible enough that we cleared it all, but the som tam and tom yum weren't spicy, while that goong ob woon sen wasn't nice and greasy like the Boat Quay dude's place. But at least the prawns were fresh and the food came out at blazingly fast speed.

            If there was anything Thai Gold Food didn't do well at, it was their iced tea. I'm actually surprised this was lacklustre. These days, it's not so difficult to find a better representative of this beverage as it was some years back.
