While the food at TOBY’s Kopi Toast Bakery wasn’t exactly out of this world, the affordable prices as well as the portions offered are very attractive and well worth what you’re paying for. If you’re ever on a budget when making a journey to the west, you know where to visit!
It is a good initiative that the menu includes local meals like this. A good bargain given the hearty portions too.
I also liked how the house-made pizza dough was nicely stretched, giving a good bite and holding up the condiments well.
Among all the cakes, D'Lover ($6.90) is a hot favourite. Layered with durian filling, that explains its popularity.
Toby’s The Dessert Asylum is a great cafe for the everyone since its portion is huge. And particularly suitable for family with kids.
Toby’s The Dessert Asylum is a great cafe in the West of Singapore for the everyone since its portion is huge. NAHMJ would recommend them particularly for family with kids.
The only downside is the location I guess. It is quite inaccessible although it is good to be away from the hustle city or even neighbourhood areas. You still need to drive in though.
