Their Toast was another absolute treat. It was crisp yet soft an their homemade Kaya was just awesome. The butter was good too. Now I understand why this place is so famous. I would definitely rate their toast set at 10/10.
東南美茶室的烤麵包和蒸麵包特別好吃,原因在於店家自製的加央。東南美茶室的pandan kaya採用新鮮摘下來的斑蘭香葉搾成汁後,讓傳統加央除了蛋香和椰子香以外,還多了一層pandan獨特的香氣,而顏色也更接近大自然的綠色。這種香氣又有別於一般市面上的pandan kaya——那一種味道可能就是我們常說的古早家鄉味,能夠和牛油融合在一起。來店裡喝完咖啡以後,也可以在櫃檯買到店家自製的kaya醬帶回家。
