It might surprise some of you that before my visit to Two Men Bagel House , I didn’t know what a bagel taste like even though the word isn’...
The tanginess from the chimichuri could be overwhelming the other ingredients (the haloumi and the lamb mostly) in the bagel sometimes.
This bagel was hefty and pretty filling. A mess to eat because the fillings were sliding out halfway but a delicious mess nonetheless.
Brisket was very tender - thought I tasted cinnamon in it.
Though I did feel that their bagel seemed like it has shrunk a bit.
No complains about the quantity of what's between the sliced bread. I mean, look at this bagel. The irony was that I liked the bagel better than the fillings.
Not bad but I think I prefer salmon that's a little smokier and perhaps with dill.
It might sound a little unusual to have fillings that were so savoury and spicy in a cinnamon raisin bagel but it didn't taste weird at all.
Not bad. I personally thought it would have worked without the mayo and a stronger/saltier cheese type would have upped their game.
