Mei Sek seems the busiest kopitiam among the 3 both in the morning for the hawker food as well as night time for the Bean Sprout Chicken Rice.
My breakfast was 三间庄猪肉老鼠粉 Porkball dry Loh Su Fun, a bit oily but that's typical of a good bowl of dry porkball noodles.

"How does it taste?", I hear you ask impatiently. Muahahaha. It is good!!! One of the better tasting burgers I've had in my burger eating life. I must say that there are many thoughtful touches to the burgers from this stall. For one, look at the bun and you'll notice a sesame seed bun. It might not sound like much, but it's definately a plus."Why" you say? Cause sesame makes the bun taste better. Don't believe me? Go and have a try yourself. Also, without sesame seeds on top of the bun, the burger looks kinda dull if you look at it from the top. It'll just look like a light brown "blob of something". So it's fair to say that it enhances both taste and looks of theaburger.
This is a place where I used to hang out 7years ago before I fly to Vietnam for 3years. Well, I still find it interesting even after so many year, although the owner sold the business to his partner, luckily the partner still sayang the place and everything remain unchanged :) Their concept is very laid-back. Your hand can touch the floor when you sit on their mini lazy chair. You feel like home when you're there! I almost fell asleep...
We sat for a good while there after the meal, enjoying the ambiance while drinking our Sunset Quench (their special mocktail). There are also complimentary kuachi (sunflower seed) and groundnuts for customers to enjoy while waiting for their food, or as an aftermeal 'dessert'.
For better variety of Aunty Sally's home-made Yong Tao Foo, it is best to be at Restoran De Happy Land earlier in the morning time.
A bit expensive but I think nice, and the curry was not bad.
Personally, I am used to these conditions.
Besides Yong Tao Fu and the Braised Pork leg, Margaret also offers Asam Fish, Vinegar Pork, Salted Fish Cake and TauFu Pot and every table seems to be ordering the TauFu Pot; perhaps next visit!
The CCF sprinkled with sesame seeds and sesame oil is definitely a good choice!
As far as the food, still preferred to be having it in the shop!
Anyway, all nice, an enjoyable treat of Banana Leaf rice lunch!
If you are here with friends and family, I would recommend having a good sit down meal with a few dishes and rice.

But if I am out and about for another jam packed day in the vicinity, Mezcla would be a serious consideration for lunch or dinner.
Overall, we were happy with the portion size and quality of the food. On top of that, the vibrant orange wall and casual setting made this a nice place for dining with friends and family. If you are a fan of Mexican food, or have never tried it, we suggest giving Mezcla Burrito Bar a shot.
Both Taco and Nachos are Mexican street food.
