Overall, the food at Yuan Kie Kopitiam Bentong is good. It is basically a simple kopitiam in Bentong serving breakfast and comfort food for the locals. It is just that for this couple of years, Bentong becomes popular as the weekend place for city dwellers and hence the influx of people. We know many people recommended Yuan Kie Kopitiam Bentong, we think this is a good place for breakfast too. Thanks for reading and safe travels!
Wantan noodle really tasty. CCF with Tau Foo Pok is nice too.
While not the best wanton mee we’ve ever tasted – the noodles were pretty decent and above average. We like that the noodles were al-dente, The soy sauce mix was also on the savoury side with a thicker consistency.
Great place for breakfast and lunch, at least for the outsiders.
We headed over to Yuen Kee Kopitiam for the 'Hooi Ji Wantan Mee'. Mum told me that the butter-kaya toast @ Yuen Kee is also nice, but when we were there, no more toast left, unfortunately.
