Let’s see what we ordered for our dinner. We ordered Dog Food, Classic Meatloaf, Baby Back Ribs, Crispy Bacon, Mixed Sausage Platter and Pig in a Blanket. I personally like the Classic Meatloaf and Dog Food. When I heard the name of Dog Food, I am like wow. Sound cool. Actually it is a fries bakes with gravy and cheese. For the Classic Meatloaf it actually is the combination of finely-minced pork and loaf. It is very juicy and tasty!
Please Note: This is a Non-Halal RestaurantDropped by Betty’s Midwest Kitchen at Aman Suria and Dataran Prima for an early dinner with the family. I’ve been...
Bottom Line: As someone who’s had Midwestern food for 4 years straight, I can vouch for the authenticity of Betty’s Midwest Kitchen’s food. With how long it’s been run, it would be a pity to see the diner come to a close when Kevin decides to retire. However, not every small business is built with the purpose of expanding or chasing profits, and Betty’s Midwest Kitchen is is an example of that.
So if you are out on a special date night, celebrating birthdays or just want to have a nice family gathering, let Auntie Betty take charge of it all.
The Pulled Pork Burger comes with coleslaw and fries. The burger was yummy. Most of the pulled pork burgers I’ve had are usually well shredded, the one here comes partly shredded and partly in chunks. It’s no problem though as while it differs in size, the texture was the same. It was a pretty simple burger with burger buns + shredded pork coated in sweet-ish BBQ sauce? + onions but was good. I suppose the simplicity was its appeal.
Service was attentive and they try to customer relationship us back.
My pulled pork burger with coleslaw and fries. The pulled pork with onions is on the sweet side. I kept half the portion for dinner.
Overall, I think the pork chops, grilled pork belly and ribs are worth ordering. I will definitely come back here for more!
I was disappointed as the quality of the food has dropped compared to before, but nevertheless, the food was still really great! It's a really good place for a hearty American Meal =)
When I go to Betty's, I only have one item on the menu I wouldn't miss. The Grilled Pork Belly (RM27.90) which comes with a side of coleslaw and fries but I usually change my fries to the most awesome and buttery mash potatoes that they drench in some really good meat sauce for an additional of RM2. The first bite usually sends me to heaven and back a second later for the next bite which then sends me off to heaven again. If you get what I mean.
