Smoked Standing Chicken, RM68 Hickory smoking wood pungent with strong bacon-flavor strong flavor to the roasted chicken. The meat was remarkably tender and the skin is beautifully crispy and flavoursome. Even without any garnishing, the chicken tastes delicious, the chicken comes with fried fish skin and scramble eggs. The addition of these simple ingredients gives every mouthful an explosive flavour.

Supreme Soup with Lala and Fish Fillet Meehoon (上汤啦啦鱼片米) @ RM28.00 (Small) Seafood dishes are aplenty here, but the highly recommended ones would be the Clam and Fish Fillet Meehoon in Chinese Herbal Broth. The soup is mind-blowing, so rich in herbal flavours and natural sweetness from the seafood.

My favourite dish that evening had to be the Fried Crispy Roast Pork. Who doesn't love caramelized fried pork? I love it to bits, as it tasted heavenly with lots of garlic, and thick dark soy sauce thrown into the mix. Stir fried to a crisp, it is a rather sinful dish, with the bits of fats and all. Something to indulge in, but not everyday or that tummy will grow!
Besides the deep-fried threadfin, two other fish dishes that are recommended are the Steamed Tilapia Nyonya Sauce (RM4.60/100g) and Grouper Fish Head Curry (RM32). The nyonya sauce used to steam the red tilapia in was really kickass, with good doses of chillies and tangy limejuice and everything spicy in between! Long beans, ladies fingers, tomatoes, onions and brinjals scattered all over so this makes a complete dish by itself. Trust me, you will be reaching for more white rice with this dish – the sauce’s amazing!
