The hotel was serious about its offerings and service.
Our room gives an immediate sense of relaxation, thanks to the soft earthy hues of the furnishings and relaxing spaciousness. The large bathroom comes with strong rain shower and a stand-alone bath tub for that luxurious touch. We love the bed – the bedding is really comfortable and we had some blissful sleep here. From our room, we enjoyed a pleasing vista of the sprawling city and the roll of picturesque limestone hills in the distance.
Verdict: I like its great location and our room was in top notch cleanliness. It was indeed a pleasant stay at WEIL Hotel, Ipoh and would highly recommend if you’re planning to visit Ipoh.
Reasons to visit The Haven All-Suite Resort Ipoh: a natural escape; suites suitable for small group or family travel; pretty outlook; green philosophy; not too far from Ipoh downtown but pleasantly removed from the bustle of metropolitan life.
The Haven Resort Hotel, Ipoh - All Suites is a luxury family resort hotel in Ipoh, set naturally by limestone hill, forest and lake, and is Malaysia's finest.
We very much did enjoyed ourselves. The jaw dropping moment was when we saw the panoramic view from the balcony.
Reason to visit The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat: luxury eco-resort in a stunning and unique setting, geothermal hot springs, Jeff’s Cellar, first-class spa.
Surrounded by pristine water and foliage, our Lake Villa offers hillside serenity. With a terrace overlooking the lake, the room is complete with king-sized bed, Bose speakers and everything you need for a retreat. Coupled with its own plunge pool and hot tub, it is convenience with a touch of privacy and luxury.
Been talking about heading to Banjaran Hotspring for some time already. Since coming back from Bali especially, we love staying at Private Pool villas.
The M Boutique Hotel is frequently referred to as whimsical, quirky and unique. Guests can choose from 93 rooms, all of which exude an atmosphere of total peace and harmony. The hotel offers an excellent variety of recreational facilities, including fitness center. M Boutique Hotel is an ideal place of stay for travelers seeking charm, comfort and convenience in Ipoh. I really love the design of the rooms
Verdict: My stay here was great and my photos certainly do not do much justice to the grand ambience and design of the M Boutique Hotel. Service was generally friendly and prompt for both check in/out counter and restaurant. Come and experience yourself! If you adore boutique hotel setting, you might want to consider M Boutique Hotel!
My Personal Opinion When we stayed at Regalodge, we enjoyed our stay. Then we went to MH Hotel and we were happier with our stay. Now, we like M Roof even more! ;) More so when the location is so convenient for us....just a mere 2 - 3 minutes away from my husband's family home in Ipoh. It'll probably be our choice for next year's stay too. For the price paid (which is still slightly cheaper than MH Hotel), it's definitely a choice I'd recommend the next time you visit Ipoh...with two venues for breakfast and walking distance to plenty of hawker stalls (the hotel is just opposite the Medan Selera Stadium). The stadium is currently undergoing rebuilding works which should be completed by the first quarter of the year.
I booked the Family Room (Triple), which comes with 1 Queen size bed and 1 Single size bed at a good rate of RM270 per night. Room size is 36 m² , sufficient space for us and kids to move about and also play. Air-cond was working well and the free wifi signal was strong too.
We stayed in the Super Suite which is the highest room category here. With 75 sq m of living and bedroom space, the suite was extremely spacious. There is a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and we also requested for an extra rollaway bed to accommodate our family of four. The furnishings are pretty basic but the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is also complimentary WiFi to stay connected.
So how much does the glamping experience at Lost World of Tambun cost? For 4 pax (2 adults and 2 children), it costs RM588. For this price, you get a tent with beds and the facilities for 2 days 1 night, buffet breakfast for 4 at Garden Terrace as well as Theme Park Entrance for 4 persons for 2 days (worth RM452). For 2 pax (2 adults), the cost is RM438 with an option to add-on for 3rd person (child RM105, adult RM120). Our family had so much fun - the whole experience surpassed our expectations and more. A wonderfully memorable experience for our family, especially for our kids, who have recently expressed an interest in camping. Kudos to the helpful, professional staff for also making our stay very comfortable. We can't wait to go back again!
It’s time of the year for us to have a holiday and for the Chinese to be reunited again with their family. Chinese New Year is just around the corner. Hotels and restaurants are rolling out their Chinese New Year dishes and set menus to be served at families reunion dinner. I was invited to review the Chinese New Year set menu at Casuarina@Meru Ipoh.
As for the bed, their bed comes simply comfort which I can easily dozed off in minutes. The bed is comes simply comfortable and clean which is what I am looking for whenever I am in any travel trip. And the pillows that are provided are fluffy and just so comfort to cater for a good sleep.
Cost RM170/room/night all in at Agoda.com. Doesn’t include breakfast. Positives Friendly service; easily accessible, free parking, good wifi connectivity. Negatives A little tired around the edges. Overall An okay choice if you’re planning on doing business or sightseeing on this side of Ipoh.
The Travelodge Ipoh is a fairly “new” hotel that debuted in January 2020 as the city’s first internationally-branded hotel…. With 268 newly refurbished guestrooms in what can be considered a great location, the hotel definitely offers comfort, convenience, and connectivity for their guests, both business and leisure travellers….
