Hilton Singapore recently refreshed their selection of curated foodie staycations, with the hotel now offering four different Foodie Staycation stay packages (some of which provide savings of up to 60%) until 31 July 2021
Considering the usual rates of a stay at Hilton Singapore, the value here is hard to beat.
While the property may not be an obvious staycation destination given its very old-fashioned approach to business hotel hospitality, what it does have over the newer and snazzier properties in Singapore (and Conrad Centennial Singapore) is warm, heart-felt service.
While the prices are not exactly easy on the wallet, you’ll get to enjoy over 90 dishes that span across a handful of cuisines.
Signature cakes in the shelves included Dulcey Coffee, Caramel Cassis, Matcha Azuki (my favourite), Red Velvet (friend’s favourite), Rainbow Cake (children’s favourite), and Lavender Cake.

I stayed at the Hilton Singapore over the past weekend to enjoy some personal space and time away from the hectic daily life. I also made a deliberate attempt to mute all work-related email notifications to ensure that I do not get tempted to do what I should not. While I have covered this hotel in a previous review, I thought this stay was pretty exceptional so it deserved another review. Besides, I stayed in a different room type this time and thought I might cover more aspects of the hotel.
So of the hotels I’ve stayed at this was my least favorite and I wouldn’t return. The hotel itself is fine — it’s a generic Hilton — but as far as Hilton properties I prefer the usually similarly priced Conrad, and if I’m staying on Orchard Road I far prefer the St. Regis.
