        Our favourite goes to Nasi Ulam. Mixed chilled rice with crunchy local herbs, served with roasted beef or roasted chicken accompanied with coconut milk, spicy gravy, sambal kelapa, sambal chili, fish cracker, salted egg and ginger pickles. Best to have a bit of everything and tuck in in one spoonful.

          Top on the list of Genji’s Winter Specials and Signature Dishes menu is the air-flown Wagyu beef. With its rich tender buttery melt-in-mouth texture, thanks to the heavy marbling, wagyu is best savoured grilled lightly or dipped into shabu-shabu. Swirling the wagyu for just a few seconds in a bubbling umami broth is the best way to enjoy the beef. We definitely didn’t stop at one slice! The Shabu-shabu wagyu (marble 10) is at RM380

                                      I like how the chef associate Japanese ingredients with the modern cooking technique to craft an astonishing new menu to satiate every diners. Portion and taste wise, definitely no hesitation recommending this place for a great Japanese dining experience.
