Shangri-La Singapore ushers in a blooming Chinese New Year with an abundance of divine reunion feasts and thoughtfully curated festive goodies to ring in the Year of the Rabbit.
As you can imagine, I am very disappointed by the lack of any form of service recovery for all that has transpired, especially from a hotel of Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore’s standing.
Our stay at Shangri-La Singapore was fabulous and doing nothing at all was definitely a great break for us. Highly recommended!
While I enjoyed the surprisingly contemporary residential experience at the Tower Wing, perhaps the Valley Wing may offer a guest journey that is truer to the core of Shangri-La’s brand of old-world, opulent luxury.
Only one word for those minced pork balls with crab meat served in pork and chicken broth: Delicious!
Most of those I asked would definitely aim for the Nasi Lemak due to its “Michelin” factor, while I actually craved for the ‘simpler’ foods of Carrot Cake and Kaya Toast.

The Shangri-La Singapore definitely has an edge over other luxury hotels in Singapore. I personally feel that this is a really great property for people who loves to spend a weekend staycation away from home but it is perhaps not the most convenient property for those coming here on business.
