Shisen Hanten by Chen Kentaro is a beautiful Chinese restaurant located on the 35th floor of the Mandarin Orchard Hotel. This space was formerly occupied by the Pine Court Chinese restaurant.
the highlight for the new dishes include the Roasted Brown Rice-fed Chicken topped with Garlic, Mala-glazed Barbecued Pork, and Braised “Rat Noodle” with Lobster in Superior Broth.
Braised ‘rat noodle’ with lobster and roasted garlic in superior broth is best way to welcome the year of rat as the silver needle noodles much like a rat’s tail.
I will be back for my favourite dishes when I have special occasion as the ala carte dishes pricing are quite steep.

The menu is long and rambling, as do most other Chinese restaurants, but the waitresses at hand are patient guides.
While the ambience and service is impressive, the food is just alright, and personally, I won't be visiting again unless necessary.
