Basilico @ Regent Hotel Singapore ‘s brunches and dinner takes on delicious festive twists with a gastronomical tour around Italy.
the best really is the tagliatelle di manzo which just means sliced beef steak…a sirloin…I had medium rare…perfecto! I can eat this every time la…:-)
risotto also excellent very good & tasty ..
Many choices of cheese and bread, and really delicious tomatoes.
Besides the cheeses, there is an array of dried fruit, nuts, jams and compotes, bread sticks, oat crackers and various honeys to complement the appreciation of the cheese selections.
Thankful we chose the Semi Buffet, because the mains were barely anything to shout out for...
Enjoy the season's gifts with your family at Basilico. Trust me, everyone will enjoy it.
I've really never had a bad meal at Basilico, tasting or not and I would definitely be back in a heartbeat for more of those cheeses, truffle honey and to die for dessert buffet.
Basilico's Basilissimo dining series is a semi buffet with unlimited serving of antiipasti and dessert on top of the a la carte main course selection.
On a regular basis, I find Basilico's buffet of great value and even more so during restaurant week. If there's just one buffet worth your time and stomach space, I say give it to Basilico. I've truly not had a bad buffet there, yet.
To each its own really, Basilico still has a special place in my food-tionary and I look forward to attempting lunch soon!
It is always so fascinating to see that the chefs are always thinking out of the box to create something new and exciting for diners. Yet, everything carried out so smoothly without compromising on quality.
The Basilico's Basilissimo dinner menu compromises of an appetiser and dessert buffet along with an ala carte main course selection.
Will I return again? There are not many Italian theme buffet restaurants in Singapore, but I am glad I can say I have found my calling for Italian food in Basilico.
