Their standard and quality of dishes have been reputable and consistent all these years.
Craziness runs in my blood but i am still surprised that i agreed to the Great Kon's suggestion to travel all the way to Yuhua Village for get-together lunch on a weekend!
We also discovered their bitter gourd stir fried with eggs and salted egg this time round. These were pretty good.
Prices are very reasonable and flavours on point, Zai Shun is a comforting option in the West for sure. We will be back.
After a meal at Zai Shun, you will go home with food memories and food stories you can tell for years to come.
Zai Shun 载顺 is one of the best places for fresh fish dishes in Singapore.
Once again Zai Shun has lived up to our expectation as the best place for steamed fish in Singapore.
Some other dishes that are popular at Zai Shun are the fried bitter gourd and fish cakes.
The steamed sharks cartilage in taujeon lime sauce is an outstanding dish here
this was so good. the sauce was taujeon and a bit tangy, i suspect lime.
The Assam Curry Fish Head had a spicy, tangy gravy that went well with rice, so much so that I almost drenched my bowl in it.
The highlight for me at Zai Shun is not their curry fish head but their steamed fish.
The order system is quite disorganised, and the place can get chaotic during lunch hour.
I will definitely come back here again.
