The red, hot chilli sambal was potently spicy and left a burning sensation on my tongue, even though it dissipated rather quickly. If you like, you can even get a tub of sambal at just S$4.00! p.s. I don't know how big is one tub.

The carrot cake was good as always – sweet, caramelised, and soft with all the wok hei and egg mixed in. The satay was quite average, skinny and dry. The zi char was very average – maybe I need to get the seafood from here. The Michelin recommended stalls fared poorly.

XO Minced Meat Noodles (XO 肉脞面) - you can't really miss this 24-hour stall as it's one of the first few stalls you would notice once you enter from the main entrance of the food centre.
It was a Michelin-listed stall, and I could see why: the meat was tender, moist, and tasty, and the sauces were delicate too. I'd order from them again.
