Crystal Jade Palace at Takashimaya Shopping Centre and Crystal Jade Golden Palace at Paragon mall has recently refreshed their menu with new tantalizing dishes crafted by Group Executive Chef Martin Foo. We were there for a dinner tasting and here are some of the highlights from the two restaurants:
Crystal Jade's fine dining restaurant, Crystal Jade Palace, has reopened its doors with a refreshed look and menu.
I couldn't really enjoy the different components in the husk together to associate it to the chendol dessert, as I ended up tackling the elements individually.
Everyone’s favourite of the night that comprises a tasty combination of sweet chives stem, minced prawns and bits of Chinese ‘lap cheong’ between sheets of spring roll skin. You couldn’t stop at the first piece. Trust me!
For the ‘sweeter’ tooth, Chendol with coconut ice cream ($12.80) is a good choice, especially if you love gula melaka, don’t miss this.
The design of the new interior is a contrast of the previous design. From dark vibes to light and subtle scheme.
If you enjoy beef, order the tender Sauteed Beef Cubes with Shishito Peppers in Black Pepper Sauce ($36 for regular portion) with some fats that melt in the mouth.
With the upcoming Mother's Day and Father's Day in May and June. Crystal Jade Restaurants will be launching several promotions at its group of restaurants for this two months.
It’s definitely great and convenient to be able to get a taste of all the different Chinese cuisines in Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao!
