Despite their short tenure at the cosy corner of Suntec City, the cafe has seen many supporters visit from all over the world

Gudetama cafe is worth checking out as the food actually tastes better than many other themed cafes out there.

Just as Gudetama's attitude is flawed, the café isn't perfect in all senses, but it has that unexplainable charm and drawing power. I want to go back and experience it again!

We often expect dining in Orchard as an expensive affair; at Yentafo, you get to enjoy some very comforting food at relatively affordable price. Go for the dishes here with more Thai-influence to avoid disappointment that it taste just like the Yong Tau Foo at the coffeeshop below your house.

In a nutshell, although the food is not perfect, it is the best among all the cartoon character-based cafes we have been. It is also a very exciting space as we ran around the cafe, taking photos. When you come here, you definitely can’t be as bochap as Gudetama.

Try to check out Gudetama Cafe to find out – you will understand what I meant. Needless to say, it is far better than most of the theme cafes in Singapore.

We are usually skeptical of character cafes, even though we are almost certain kids and fans of the Gudetama cafes will enjoy the dining experience here. The food is not all bad, although keeping in mind that the pricing leans towards the higher end. Be here to soak in the fun atmosphere!

Intrigued by this new character cafe? It is certainly worth a visit because some dishes really surprised us with its taste. However, as with most of these “gimmicky cafes”, do not have high expectations of the food. They are primarily attractive because of their aesthetics.
