G Hotel Gurney, which is very much in the heart of bustling Gurney Drive in Penang, has recently unveiled a new facelift after completing a RM35 million makeover. The renovation resulted in an upgrade to guest comfort, with chic lobby, modern contemporary rooms and suites, amenities, sophisticated meeting rooms and trendy restaurants and bars. We were hosted at the hotel with a one night stay and an opportunity to visit all the rooms. Checking in was a breeze at the glass lobby which has been furnished with Minotti and Porada designer furniture.
