Char Siew Wan Tan Mee (big), 9.50 ringgit. Between the noodles and the rice, I thought the noodles were better. It was gooood, delicious. The noodles here are slightly thinner than usual, springy. The char siew was tender and juicy, provided the noodles with a lil sweetness. It was good, I’d give this dish a go again.

4-Star (out of 5). Famous Seremban Favourites have one of the best char siew that I have ever tasted. Nice contrast of light crisp and juicy soft textures. Delicate, perfect balance of savoury, sweet and natural porky flavours. This is the first time that I've ever used the "P" word to describe food in my blog.

Be prepared to wait for at least 15 minutes to 20 minutes during lunch time as the restaurant will be very packed. You might even have a hard time catching a staff to take your order or paying for your food!

Next up, we had a dry wan tan mee to share. The small portion was priced at RM4.30 and we thought it tasted quite good. The Char Siew was the best part though, be it wan tan mee or plain white rice, it tasted amazing!

I feel the perfect cut for Char Siew would be ‘pun fei sao’ ones (too bad for the weight watchers and dieters) with layers of sweet, soft juicy fat that melts in your mouth. I am not exaggerating here, the meat really dissolves just by moving it around in your mouth and applying little pressure using the tongue. The Char Siew already tastes great on its own but feel free to dip them into the Char Siew sauce for a sweeter, enhanced flavor.

While you can have rice to go with the char siu, I went for their Hakka Mee instead which is served without the dark sauce, rivals those we get in Ipoh. The noodle is cooked al dente and surprisingly tasty with the seasoned minced pork. Another must-try stuff here.

With drinks, the meal cost us around RM 30 for the three of us. Pretty decent price and definitely awesome taste. You should give this place a try if you are a char siew lover. Couldn’t get any better than this.

The humble little place has a wide variety of food and good services, but the killer is still the char siu. Food is served without much of waiting despite the crazy lunch hour crowd. We have been frequenting the place ever since, but have never bump into the char siu slut, wmw and sexy beast. Let’s go together-gether next time OK?

The meat is tender and whether the cut is lean or not, they still lovingly fill the mouth with such a wonderful sensation. Be it the lean yet tender cuts or simply the not so lean cuts that melts in your mouth, this has dethroned my earlier char siew favourite located in Kuala Lumpur. A small portion cost RM5/USD1.50; cheaper than the one downtown in Kuala Lumpur.

Overall this is one great place for a very satisfying meal, with great taste and impressive varieties to choose from. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering its location. While service is not exactly friendly and prompt (it gets even more slower when the lunch crowd peaked), the arguably one of the best char siew in Klang Valley more than makes up for it. Will I return for more? Are you kidding me? Of course!
