Unagi and Grilled Salmon Don with Chawanmushi and Miso RM 48 This is another don we ordered and it is Unagi and Grilled Salmon Don. We know there are many people who are not a fan of sashimi or fresh seafood so this is a good option. Sweet and tasty unagi (eel) with lightly grilled salmon with rice. This also comes with also comes with chawanmushi and miso soup. Overall, we love the food at Ichiro Sushi Bar at Eat Paradise Isetan One Utama. The sashimi here is very fresh and what you pay is what you get in terms of quality of the food.

Came back for another round of Japanese Don goodness. The best place in Klang Valley for Japanese fresh fish don if you're craving for one.
Their lunch deals are pretty good. Chirashi bowl looks like a very popular item, seems likes everyone loves ordering it! Will definitely return for their Chirashi bowl!
I, on the other hand, had the kaisen bara chirashi (RM22.80) and it certainly did not disappoint. It came with copious amounts of assorted raw sashimi such as tuna and salmon, as well as prawn, ikura, tobikko, pickles, cucumber and avocado. For RM22.80, I felt it was extremely good value for money. I now have another place I can get my bara chirashi fix (other one being Hanaya, their sister restaurant). By the way, the bara chirashi and salmon and ikura don are available at these prices for lunch only. I also added on a mini udon (RM4.50), as Chloe likes udon.
Verdict : Ichiro caters for small group diners due to the limited seats. All the above has its uniqueness and texture. You get good selections of sushi here. Overall satisfaction; fresh & delicious sushi/nigiri!!
HANA set (RM29.80) The Hana Set comes with a small platter of incredibly fresh sashimi, sushi roll (you can pick your choice of sushi roll from the menu), miso soup and chawanmushi. The chawanmushi is silky smooth and loaded with lots of ingredients.
Currently, Ichiro Sushi Bar is top in my list for a simple Japanese Sushi and Sashimi meal. Do take note that you need to dig slightly deeper into your wallet for this yet its worth i
This is my default sushi bar in PJ; you get what you pay for and the experience comes coupled with an authentic sushi bar ambiance where you could sit by the sushi counter, watch your orders being prepared and then placed in front of you one by one, order by order.
For RM20, there’s nothing to complain about the Mini Salmon Sashimi Don. Thick slices of fresh and smooth salmon? Check. Well-cooked short grain Japanese rice? Check. Delicious? You bet. It’s amazing how two seemingly simple ingredients could taste so good together. I’d return to Ichiro again and again just for this dish alone.
I ordered from one of the lunch sets available and at just RM25, it was good value for money. Tempura, chawanmushi , aka-dashi, 5 types of nigiri and ice cream, it was a hearty lunch. Quality of the fishes was excellent and the rice was tasty enough to do without shoyu.
