Noodle texture here is certainly different. abit chewy, slightly fatter and certainly the sauce that they have is one of its kind. Unique yet pretty good. Wan ton size here is slightly bigger compare to KL too, in a normal traditionally wan tan mee per plate. Adding their own chili sauce is abit unique but still prefer the original taste which is better. Simple and direct.

Another unique point for ‘Chop See Kee Wanton Mee’ is it is in creamy colour while most of the Wantan Mee is in black colour. This is because the sauce of Wantan Mee is made with the soy sauce, lard and chili sauce.
4-Star (out of 5). I love the thick and heavy egg noodles at Choy See Kee. I also like the heavily lard laced sauce. Love it or loath it, Ah See's style of wanton mee is uniquely Batu Pahat. It is well loved by local folks. The old school flavours and the chance to mingle with locals make a visit to Chop See Kee well worthwhile for visitors to BP.

Our very first stop for food at Batu Pahat is at Chop See Kee Wan Tan Mee Stall "张亚泗云吞面". we was highly recommended by our food blogger friend to try this stall up before try other food in Batu Pahat. The wanton noodles come without dark soy sauce but with a choice of chilli paste, a different variation to the equally popular (black version) wanton mee. The noodles itself are springy but I think the overall taste still lacks that ohmmphh in it. Above average but not impressive. Rating: 7.0/10
连云吞皮也是自制的喔! 古早味叉烧鲜嫩多汁, 典型的猪肉云吞也不错, 以猪骨熬出的汤头更是清甜.
听说这是许多峇株从小吃到大的老字号，来到峇株如果没吃过这云吞面应该不算来过这里吧？ 50几年前张亚泗独创一种不放黑酱油的云吞面，加上特制的辣椒，名声远传四方。或许这种的 “反传统”云吞面会让第一次吃的朋友有些不习惯，吃过几次后你会发现这云吞面的口感蛮不错的。
