Wine Connection Bistro HillV2 has a bright contemporary look. We like the spaciousness of the restaurant.
Overall, the set lunch at Wine Connection was quite a substantial meal for $15. The pizza might be thin, but the slices do add up. In the end, there was more pizza than I could single-handedly consume.
A relatively good choice if you are looking for somewhere with less crowds during weekend, but we are unlikely to be back as hubby is really turned off by the chargeable spring water...Otherwise quite a good place to chill and relax and enjoy the food!

Overall we thought that Jiak Modern Tze Char was a nice friendly restaurant to have a simple meal in the Upper Bukit Timah area. It is good that they open continuously throughout the day and diners can pop in during in-between hours. If only the flavoring of the dishes was less strong.

Not only is the interior of Starker beautiful, its exterior is equally welcoming. Thus, we chose to dine Al fresco to take advantage of the cool breeze.
Starker Fresh Beer may be more known for its alcoholic beverages, but they have also joined the fray into the F&B establishments as well.
It was quite empty on a weekday evening and seems like a good place to chill or even a place to do some work. The service was friendly and frankly, I do not mind making a return trip for its quiet environment and over some simple western food like this.
