[Pork-free] Yes, we can confirm that the cendol at Makan Time is the best in town!
Specialising in Ipoh fare, the resto’s kai si hor fun (shredded chicken with rice noodle) is well-known, the broth sweet from hours of boiling chicken bones and meat, topped with large fresh bouncy prawns, to be slurped down with slippery silky kway teow. A once a week special, the smooth tender poached chicken completes the excellent ensemble
Verdict: Food was just decent, to be honest, nothing too outstanding but I’ll definitely come back for the Cendol. Perhaps for takeaway only because the poor service from inattentive and uncaring servers was kind of marred my dining experience here. ⋋_⋌
Their signature Nasi Pak Man (RM9.20) comes in a standard serving of rice, fried chicken, cucumber, sambal and gravy. You can also opt for extra Ayam Pericik (RM6.90), Daging Bakar (RM5.50) or Keropok Goreng (RM2.40) to make it a more satisfying experience. Although it looks pretty normal, the overall combination of thick and aromatic gravy coupled with fried chicken and sambal was still delicious.
Nasi Pak Man tu nasi kukus la kan. Kuah gulai itu terbaikkk..takde la pedas sangat sebab Danish boleh je telan. Banyak gak dia makan. Dayyan lak pertama kali makan roti tik tak tu. Sekali hadap dia sorang boleh habiskan semua. Nampak sangat dia suka.
Nasi Dagang Ikan | RM7.50 Ya ampun, kemain suka lagi Mr Big dengan hidangan ni. Sampai licin kuahnya dia bedal, akak Lily nak rasa pun tak dapat. Ciss sedap bebenau la tuh kan.
I really like this stall. Next time when I am in and around Kota Damansara, I shall know where to head for mee goreng. Tee-hee.
I find Bob’s mee goreng by far the best (for me) in the Klang Valley now. I’ve had some at different restaurants and mamaks, but for RM5.00, none had tasted anything like Bob’s. It hits the spot for me – tangy with good wok hei (char fragrance) and it neither overly greasy or wet but pleasantly moist and tasty. A good balance of spiciness and sweetness too! At RM 5.00 per plate it is superb value for money. The portion easily sharable for 2 small eaters. The deep-fried flour fritters were fresh and there were generous amount of bean sprouts and bean curd thrown in.
We’ve eaten here for almost a decade (and also at their old branch in SS3) – and the food here never missed the mark. Lan Je is truly one of the best neighbourhood restaurants in Kota Damansara. RECOMMENDED!
Restaurant Lan Je steamed fish is famous for their signature Steamed Tilapia Fish and once featured on 8Tv’s popular food program “ Ho Chak ”.
Yum yum, originate from Persiaran Green Hill, Ipoh, Malaysia. Little Yum Yum is thier another branch in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya which was opened on 1st Dec 2910. Little Yum Yum, a truely fusion place for a good experience of South East Asia food
Service was great! You really cant go wrong with most of the dishes here at Yum Yum. All the dishes had big flavours but they completed each other very well.We highly recommend this place.
KDCF’s trails are well maintained by KDCF society’s volunteers and partners such as MyChangkul and Temuan Orang Asli Community. Thus, the forest trails are very nice and enjoyable by hikers, trail runners, and mountain bikers alike. The paths are relatively easy and flat. The most difficult parts are only the steep trails near Tiga Puteri Peak.

classy looking and comfortable cafe which serve variety of food
[Korean BBQ House] offers BUY 2 FREE 1 discount, Korean barbecue, with a cup of soju or Hite beer, is the most beautiful part of life!
Overall, their food and service is above average and with worthy Rm 30 as long as you get to finish it in 90 mins, it is so affordable and you should go for a try.
This cafe is definitely worth a visit to try out their signature soft serve. We really enjoyed the interior with its lush potted plants and rattan furniture – making it a lovely space for a catch-up with friends.
Taste wise, I am glad to say that it tasted as good as I remembered. In fact, the quality of the fried shallot seemed improved, giving the already robust soup an extra depth of sweetness and aroma. And although the price has been slightly increased to RM7 a bowl, you are getting what you pay for. You get a couple of full sized prawns, generous amount of noodle, half an egg and sufficient slices of fish cakes and pork.
Among those, the Jawa Mee, Japanese Curry Pork Chop, Thunder Tea ( Hakka Lei Cha ), Char Siew Wanton Mee, Sarawak Kolo Mee are highly recommended !
Jojo's is a chain of noodles shops in Kuala Lumpur that specialises in pan mee (板麺), which translates into "flat flour noodles". This is a completely inadequate name that fails to encapsulate the glorious deliciousness that pan mee actually is. A symphony of taste and texture, pan mee is composed of seasoned pork mince, runny poached egg, fried anchovies (they call it ikan bilis), chili sambal, potato leaves and freshly made noodles. The result is one of the most addictive dishes I've ever eaten.
Never know that nearby my office have such shop. Was recently introduce by my another friend that I should visit this Pork noodle place at Kota Damansara nearby my office. According to my friend, Ah Loy Sabah Pork Noodle is slightly different compare to any other pork noodle shop because it is Sabah version.
Nasi Kaka Special @ RM 9.50. This is my usual order and the only thing different is the rice base. It is more like nasi Briyani that cook with fragrant rice. and usually wil take with their ayam masak merah to add on the spices and gravy on top of the rice to make it extra fragrant.
Since started working around the area, I have become one of a regular customer for this malay nasi campur shop in Kota Damansara known as Restaurant Cawan. They offer variety of dishes ranging from classic malay dish with veggie and sambal to curries, soups and others.
