Points to note: – RM2 for parking – RM12 for sarong (to cover up if you are wearing short pants) – Visitors are allowed to wear shoes climbing up but devotees are encouraged to climb barefooted. You can also climb barefooted.

It is the tenth limestone hill from Ampang . Batu Caves is also the name of a nearby village . The cave is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India , and is dedicated to Lord Murugan . It is the focal point of Hindu festival of Thaipusam in Malaysia .
