Opening Offer (March 1 – June 30, 2023) Plaza Premium Lounge – From RM 146 per person (2-hour lounge use)
KLIA Fei Lou Wantan Mee is definitely comfort food, something you can have it with decent pricing at this part of Selangor. If you are picking someone at the airport early, you want some comfort food, go make a trip to KLIA Fei Lou Wantan Mee.
I opted for Malaysian Chicken Satay for a light bite since it was quite late. The skewers were nicely grilled and served with the classic peanut sauce. Decent appetizer if you are feeling peckish for a small supper snack.
The toast are thin breads with kaya and butter and it is smaller than we expected. Once we checked the filling of the toast, there is only one small piece of butter unlike how it is shown in the menu. We don’t mind paying RM 15.30 for kaya butter toast set but we expected more.
Plaza Premium is very much a functional lounge, taking you out of the terminal atmosphere, but not really providing anything too special. That said, one member of staff was helpful with a private room after a baby ‘accident’, saving us from a messy flight!
Nothing like a frothy cappucino sweetened with honey to kickstart the day!
After a reasonable wait time, the Char Kuey Teow that I had ordered was served. Again, it was another long wait before the green chilies were served. I can't really blame them as the waiters were so busy running around attending to the customers. In fact, I should congratulate them in trying their best to serve the customers. Coming back to this Char Kuey Teow, it was surely good. There were Fish Cake, Shrimps and Cuttlefish and the overall flavours of the dish was good. I would give this preparation a 8/10.
It wasn't a disappointment!
The Signature Chicken Satay RM16.80 is the must order from our list whenever we pay a visit to PappaRich Signature. Thick and succulent grilled chicken pieces (without any chicken skin in between with a non-burnt satay surface) are considered great to give a “Two Thumbs Up” rating. Tastes especially delicious while dipping into the Homemade Peanut Gravy (satay sauces).
The top seller here is of course their Wan Tan Mee and this you could have with either Char Siew, Siew Yuk or even Chicken on the sides. Along with this, comes a small bowl of dumplings in clear soup. The Wan Tan Mee truly was really good. I loved the springy egg noodles and they were very generous with the sauces. This also comes with some beansprouts on the sides. I would rate their Wan Tan Mee at 9/10.
