The Portuguese Curry Chicken arrived first at our table. It was kindda like unwrapping a present. As you can see from the first image, the chicken thigh is a rather big piece and it covered/shielded whatever that was underneath. The whole process of removing the chicken and discovering what was underneath was exciting. Basically, what the dish consisted of was a large piece of chicken thigh + corn + broccoli + mashed potato + rice + curry/gravy. The gravy was very nice, thick and buttery with plenty of flavor. It worked well with the rest of the items on the plate. The corn and broccoli were steamed – it was soft, yet crunchy. The rice is soft and rather moist, which was worked wonders here. I usually am not a fan of soft, gooey rice, unless it is sushi but in this situation, with the gravy, steamed vegetables and the chicken – it worked. Certainly a favorite.
March Azalea Kitchen is still very new but I'd say they are already doing pretty good on the food and drinks department.
Overall, March Alzea Kitchen is the place to go to if you love a quiet, comfy ambiance, the cafe serves decent food with friendly service, I like how the staff here is polite and attentive.
