Mutton Thali Set, 18.90 ringgit. I enjoyed the Thali Set. The main reason one decides to give a Thali meal a go is to get a taste, a little bit of everything in one plate, which was what I got here. As you’d notice, the dish came with 6 sides – mutton varuval, caramelized onions, cucumber in yogurt, potatoes, pumpkin + coconut, rasam. I especially loved the caramelized onion and pumpkin + coconut puree? Okay, perhaps it isnt puree? The consistency was more thicker and chunkier but it certainly tasted awesome. Both the pumpkin and caramelized onions provided a sweetish flavor that belnded perfectly with the gravy and flavors from the other sides. The varuval came with 2 medium sized mutton pieces. It was tender and rather easy to break apart. I like ‘easy to break apart’ mutton bits because then my mouth would not have to go through a rather vigorous routine in its attempts to break those bits apart – know what I mean? I’d certainly give this dish a go again, it was yummy!
