All in all, 89 Station serves surprisingly good food at unbelievably low prices.

I have to commend that the food served at 89 Restaurant was pretty decent and good!. It has the right flavour for not being overwhelming with salt or other spices!. The portion was pretty generous and the price was reasonable as well. Therefore, should you be in Kundasang, you could also check out this place. A simple place that offers decent food!.

Overall food tasted average except sweet & sour chicken and marmite chicken. Sweet & sour chicken tasted bland and lack of flavours. The worst dish was marmite chicken because it doesn't taste like marmite chicken at all and it's full of chicken fats instead of meat. Besides that, I was quite disappointed with the bak kut teh dish because they only served it with plenty of meat balls and only few slices of lean meat. The dish that I enjoyed most was the sweet corn soup. Perfect bowl to keep warm in cold weather.

Most importantly though, the quality of food is well above average. One thing though, if you haven’t had vegetables from Kundasang, you absolutely have to, they are crunchy, sweet, and really come close to those fancy imported Japanese produce you’d find in up class restaurants in KL.
