Unagi Don (RM 35) Have the bowl of don which is served with the roasted eel over a bowl of rice. I love their well roasted eel and it is such a perfect indulgence.

I wouldn’t know if they taste good or not, but for the Milo Chicken Chop I can say it is good – in a weird way. Because the chicken chop itself is already spicy, it kind of evens out the sweetness of the Milo. Plus, if you dip it in their extra spicy sambal belacan, it tastes even better.

Don’t miss out the tender juicy ayam pop and also the Ayam Kg Gulai which is so delicious. Personally, I love the Ayam Kg Gulai where I love the delicious gulai drenched on my rice with the tender juicy chicken meat.

A visit to Cheese Banjir wouldn’t be complete without trying their famous Lamb Grill The Hulk Cheese Banjir (RM40). The Lamb was surprisingly quite thick and tender, and the meat’s seasoning hit the spot nicely – good enough to be eaten on its own. However the overflowing of cheese sauce certainly helped enhance this dish.

Teriyaki Chicken Burger, 23.80 ringgit. This burger tasted delicious. If you are a fan of “Teriyaki” , then do give this a try. rest assured that every mouth you take has teriyaki sauce in it. I loved it, the slightly spicy, sweetish flavor it provides certainly made the burger as a whole yummy. You would also get a decent chunk of boneless, crunchy grilled chicken + sweet daikon + onions + cheese + cabbage, with some fries on the side. I gobbled it all up, sure was yummy. Loved it.

If you're from around the area looking for a good Japanese meal at prices that are reasonable and affordable, this is it! This place does sushi rolls and teppanyaki well. Like a blogger friend whose Connie of Hokano takes good care of her, my Netallie takes good care of me too. And it's always nice to get that little bit of special treatment (and discount) *wink wink* After one burger, two steaks, six sushi rolls, six teppanyaki (and a whole lot more) later, we're not done yet. There could be seventh, eighth and ninth visits.....but who's counting! ^_~

Gosh, I still can't believe they actually served me frozen salmon. I paid RM40 for this piece of salmon...I expect better....I demand better! >:( Even if they had overstocked or couldn't manage to sell off their salmon, they could have at least gotten their mise en place ready by defrosting the salmon before service (not that I approve of it). There didn't seem to be a manager in charge of the place when we were there. I don't see how one can open a new restaurant and hope to succeed by leaving it in the hands of foreign workers to manage without anyone senior overseeing the place.

After three visits, I continue to leave with great satisfaction with the meals I've had here, more so with the added special and warm treatment I get from Netallie each time. And this time, I was even pleasantly surprised.

I see lots of potential in this family-run place, with a friendly husband-and-wife team at the helm, together with their brother-in-law and nephew (one of the chefs), going forward. It happens to offer two of our favourite cuisines under one roof (plus parking is a breeze). I'm leaning more towards their sushi (and their extensive Japanese menu) than their burgers (or limited western menu). You've got to try their signature rolls and teppanyaki. But if you like steaks, they have that too (just enquire if you don't see it on the menu)....though the top-notch wagyu may not be so wallet-friendly. If price is a concern, then go for the more affordably priced sirloin and ribeye which are more than decent too. Though I don't usually make too many repeated visits to the same place for the sake of trying new places (and featuring them on my blog), this one will prove difficult to resist because of its convenient and strategic location not too far from where we stay! ^_* I personally think Japanese food is Burger & Sushi's forte and I prefer this place for its unpretentious appearance and food over the other more premium one (Yamaguchi Fish Market) near our locality. Let me end by saying, B+S is no BS.....they serve good food!! ;D
