Verdict: Wallet friendly neighborhood eatery. Pretty good value considering the portion and while it’s not mind-blowingly delicious, it’s a good meal option if you’re staying in this area.
What’s even better is that a meal here doesn’t cost a bomb. In fact, no more than your usual cafe and what’s even better, everything is real and made from scratch. It could very well change your lifestyle and the way you eat!
We highly recommend the Cantonese Ginger Spring Onion Noodle and Soy-Sauce Steamed Pork Belly here.
Verdict: Like the aforementioned, Seng Kee Hokkien Mee certainly one of the better ones in Kepong area that I’ve tried. The downside would be the long waiting time, but I’ll try to come earlier on my next visit to avoid the peak hour crowd.
♥Verdict: Visually, Be Real hit all the right notes, thanks to the spacious and sun drenched interior. Hits and misses on the food, but I’m not sure if I’m going to revisit. Oh ya, the sourdough was not bad which I think worth trying.

Verdict: An unpretentious neighbourhood restaurant that worth a go. My recommendation would be the Xiao Long Bao, 5 colours dumplings and the fish balls.
The wanton mee at Restoran Kok Hing, Kepong is the default go-to place for me whenever I feel like having some wanton mee. Their char-siew, roast pork and roasted chicken are quite popular here.
Among the dozens of food stalls in the night market, the one that sells pandan apam balik is the most eye-catching. The apam balik sold at this stall is the thick and chewy kind but with a twist. Besides adding an extra layer of pandan flavored batter into the pancake, the uncle also coats it with black and white sesame.
Teo Chiew Fish Ball Noodle is running on a neighbourhood business and it is a family run business (mother and daughter) Total damage is around RM40 as did make take away 1 fish ball noodle and 2 tong shui. Price is very reasonable for such homey meal. They are also famous for their yong taufu as I reach at 9pm, it was already sold out.
