Verdict: Other than THIS, Auntie May Prawn Mee is another option in this area if you’re craving for Prawn Mee. I know there is another praiseworthy Prawn Mee stall at nearby neighbourhood, let me try it out one day and share with you all again.
Verdict: Both the Curry Mee and Asam Laksa may not take the crown for the best in my book, but they still a very commendable option if you’re in this area.
Verdict: Although the cafe has a lovely interior and ambience, the food was just moderate and not outstanding. I’ll say that Kim & Savini Cafe is not one that I would come back again.
Visually the crabs are pleasing. Seems like a totally different interpretation of “nai yau” (butter milk), the gravy have a nice coconut milk fragrant, topping with a little bit hot chilli oils where the curry leaves boosted it more. There was a query among us about the gravy, arguing that gravy was from salad dressing or yogurt !!! Anyway, everyone gave thumbs up to this crab dish.
♥ Verdict: A wallet friendly and satiated meal indeed. For those who prefer Teochew style BKT with lighter flavour and you’re nearby, this Hing Kee or Heng Kee at Bandar Menjalara definitely worth trying.
♥Verdict: So sorry to say that the food we had didn’t impress us much on our initial visit and I’m pretty sure that I wouldn’t return anytime soon. (-_-)
The Kei Tak Sek KTZ Desserts Kepong Baru is their HQ and we hope to revisit once the FMCO is over. Food here is good but it depends what you prefer too.
This is another places for desserts. The best here is the ” Loh Loh” ( smooth shaved ice with fruit topping, pureed and pieces of the fruit itself). Mat Toh Loh ( loosely translated as everything features shaved ice drizzled with mango puree and sago, then topped with slices of kiwi, strawberry, mango and honeydew).
Among all the dishes I tried, I liked the Penang Pork Noodles best. Penang version is different from KL-style. The pork bone soup was flavourful, very 'ching' and sweet with the mee hoon soaking in the porky goodness of the soup.
The toast is said to crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and they are very generous with their toppings. For a full Thai experience, pair your Thai-style Toast with their Thai Milk Tea or Thai Green! It’s one of the best combination of flavours for any sweet tooth!
