        We enjoyed our light lunch at Bistro Monologue. While I wouldn’t call the food mind blowing, everything tastes fresh and homemade, service is friendly, and the environment is cozy. Prices are slightly above average, though, so probably not a lunch spot I’d go to often.

        overall aku rasa makanan kat sini sedap...dah la tengah makan, ada busking lagu best best...staff dia semua sporting siap menari nari...hahaha memang layan juga laa aku rasa weh kat sini...sambil melepak sambil layan busking...lagu lama lama yang asyikkk...hahaha....makanan pun tak mahal sangat...aku rasa dalam RM50 je termasuk kek lapis yang aku bawa balik...nyummeh!

        Makanan apa yang menarik? Tentulah mee kolok, laksa Sarawak, umai... Peehhh! Tapi, hari ni aku dan MF tried 2 menu dulu ya? Umai belum sampai... Lain kali boleh try untuk umai pulak. Lambat sampai, habis!

        This is my laksa Sarawak. Not bad la. Nk compare, x banyak yang I pernah makan tp yang kat sini agak sedap jugak. Mr hubby nye for me sedap. Lagi2 sos dia. Masyuk. Sup dia pun sedap. Anak I pun habis makan walaupun half the time duk main di sekitar kedai tu. Nasib tuan dia x marah. Tuan kedai pulak rajin mengambil gambar pelanggan. Gambar kami pun ada di FB diaorang.

        Nasi Lemak with Taiwanese Chicken Chop, 14.90 ringgit This dish was delicious. I liked it a lot. At first glance, , it is easy to assume that the chicken chop would be a lil ‘dry’ for a nasi lemak, I thought the same thing judging from how it looked like but upon trying it – it tasted yummy. The thin outer layer of the chicken was crispy and crunchy and the inside was tender and juicy. It certainly worked well with the rest of the Nasi Lemak. The sambal was also a favorite of mine. It was spicy and packed with heat but it sure tasted awesome. Would totally give this dish a go again 🙂

        Overall, tak berapa kena dengan tekak aku tapi pilihan yang menarik bagi yang mencari makanan dan masakan dari Sarawak.

        Verdict Overall, our dining experience at Chef K was a pleasant one. The eatery pays attention to small details and is doing a great job in bringing distinctive Ipoh flavours to the Klang Valley. We highly recommend you to try if you need a fix of Ipoh style Curry Mee. We’d be a regular at Chef K if only it wasn’t so far away.

        For me, I always love my curry mee to be a little thicker, more coconut's milk for that extra creamy texture and a strong umami flavour. With that mind, I must say that this bowl here meets every single one of my criteria. To make things even better, they even have a choice of Yee Mee which is an absolute favourite of mine especially with anything in broth or soup. On top of that, the roasted pork skin was still crackling and it was really juicy which just made everything even more satisfying. Also as you can see, you have the other usual condiments like the bean curd skin, tau pok and a not so usual condiment here in KL but more in Ipoh, pork skin! Truly a complete bowl of curry mee for me.
