What do We Like about An Viet? -Tasty and authentic Vietnamese food -The Bun Cha’s dressing was flavourful, the soup with clams had us wanting for more
Grilled Lemongrass Chicken (GÀ NƯỚNG XẢ ỚT) – RM19.90/set The were 2 big slabs of chicken meat skewed in lemongrass and put to grill. The chicken meat was nicely grilled and well marinated.
I have really enjoyed the scrumptious flavours of Vietnamese cuisine at Ăn Viet. There’s plenty of dishes that easily caters to every one of all ages. Portions are generous for the price and I would certainly return for the following dishes of Xoi Chien Phong, Banh Trang Nuong, Pho Bo, Bun Cha and Grilled Lemongrass Chicken!
In short, An Viet Vietnamese Restaurant serves as a good place in Mid Valley and The Gardens area for quick lunch, family dinner or friends gathering. Nice, comfort food without having to burn a whole in your pocket.
The bun cha (RM17.90) on the other hand was delicious. We were told that we should eat this Northern Vietnamese specialty as we would a cold soba- firstly tear up the herbs and green coral lettuce lettuce into the dipping sauce, then dip the noodles in and eat it together with the grilled pork patties and pork belly. A lovely, appetizing dish.
Gà Nướng Sả ớt (Rm 15.9) Grilled lemongrass chicken wowed my heart. The chicken was very well marinated with lots of herbs and spices; tender and succulent. Pretty addictive! Can’t wait to try out the grilled pork chop version.
