Australian Wagyu – the marbling is not as intense but still highly enjoyable. If you are the kind of person who likes to have a little chew in your meat, I think you would prefer this to the Japanese version.
Sukiya turns out to be quite good as with the soy sauce base that they are using and also the soup being boiled quite a while.
If you're looking for an indulgent all-you-can-eat meal, then Kuro Japanese Steamboat should be on your list.
A simple concept done right and although is slightly more pricey that your usual steamboat joint, this place is definitely worth a visit.
♥Verdict: I’m afraid Jal Dae Ji wouldn’t land a spot in my list of favourite Korean restaurant in my area, in terms of spread of Banchan and the overall taste of the food. But I like the comfortable and clean environment of the restaurant nonetheless.
♥Verdict: Food was above average although the price range might be on higher side but commensurate with comfortable environment, pleasant ambiance and attentive service.
♥Verdict: Safe to say that, Menya Hanabi’s Mazesoba worth a try if you’re skeptical like me. But I can’t say the same to the soup Ramen, we’ve had a better ones elsewhere.
Pollo Apollo (RM 30.50) Must TRY! Enjoy the wholesome fresh, hand cut bone-in pork lion grilled on an open flame, and served with a honey ,reduced orange ginger sauce. The dish is absolutely delicious and good. It makes it to our must have dish if we are coming back!
Asian Laksa Pasta RM27.90 As this place portrays themselves as an Asian fusion restaurant, I thought it was only appropriate if I tried out one of their Asian inspired dishes. Well, to be honest, I thoroughly enjoyed the sour and spicy flavours of the dish, blame it on my Asian palate. The pasta was cooked to the perfect al dente, and the sauce was tangy and creamy at the same time. It's like your usual Asian dish, but with an added creaminess to it, which to be honest, really complemented each other really well.
此餐馆现由国外回流的甘城机师傅 (Chef Kam Seng Kee) 掌厨经营, 他累积多年丰富的烹饪经验, 自创多款赏心悦目并精致美味的中西美食, 还提供口碑载道的经典粤菜!
♥Verdict: While the offerings were nothing much different with other Korean restaurants, the flavours of the food was put into consideration to decide whether the visit was worthy. The banchan were a little bit disappointed and the food did not mind blowing too (for my both visit). Meat grilling was done at one of the table at the back of the restaurant, but there’s no retractable chimney was in sight, rather poor ventilation I would say. Revisit? Perhaps, not so soon.

After smoke and ice comes fire and the Fiery Smoked Farm Chicken (RM68 – half | RM128 – full) certainly light up our table. Torched at table for that extra presentation touch, it was the chook that won our palate at the end. Using farmed corn-fed chicken, the chook has a beautiful smoky note from the smoking process. The meat is tender yet firm while the skin is tight with a light chewy bite. Salty savory notes with an earthy aroma is what makes this chicken so enjoyable.
没想到误打误撞选中的咖啡馆居然有那么好的初体验,我和朋友真的是赚到了!
